Watts Poly Alloy CrimpRing fittings are a fantastic match for Watts PEX tubing and potable use. These fittings are produced from an engineered thermoplastic polymer referred to as ACUDEL. ACUDEL resin presents countless improved efficiency characteristics that make it an outstanding option for molded elements installed in the demanding atmosphere of a hot and cold-water plumbing technique. Poly Alloy fittings are produced to ASTM F2159 and F877 standards. They have the NSF-pw rating and are certified to Canadian Normal Association B137.5.
Poly alloy (plastic) barbed PEX FPT (Female pipe thread) adapter for use with PEX pipe. Secured to PEX pipe with either stainless steel CinchClamp and Cinch Tool or copper crimp rings and crimp tools (not included) Use nonstick tape on threads. Do not use any pipe dope or thread sealing compound. Bagged.
