I like this tool mainly because it grips nicely without getting the serrated jaws that would tear up plated hardware. I remodeled sixteen bathrooms in a plant facility and a lot of the fixtures had to be taken down and reinstalled. The fittings were chrome plated and considering the fact that they were in place for a even though, they were not conveniently removed. Adjustable pliers and standard pipe wrenches dug into the plating and left a lot of ugly tool marks. By purchaing this wrench and having the flat smooth jaws, I was in a position to eliminate and reuse a lot of hardware. It ended up saving me time and capital. The Ridgid brand is excellent and this wrench has really little play in it so it will not slip and round off the corners of substantial nuts.

If you do your on plumbing, this tool is a must. It fits an array of plumbing fittings like P-trap drains and significant fittings as such. Saved me allot of time when installing my gas water heater by allowing me to get into spots were a bulky 12 in. or larger, cressent wrench head could not fit. A little pricey but worth the capital in time saved and frustration.
