Client Evaluations
This crimper operates as advertised and is worth the expense. I feel that the tool is produced particularly properly, it is heavy, ratchets fairly smoothly and the crimps are wonderful. 1 word of caution... if you are searching for a one particular handed crimper, appear elsewhere. This absolutely calls for two hands to crimp (unless you are a yeti or something).
All in all, I assume this is a amazing tool and can suggest it.
I really like PEX and using the cinches rather than the crimps. This tool makes the job even quicker, and you can use the a single tool for all the standard household sizes rather than having to change jaws or tools. And no worrying about losing you "go/no-go" gauge either because the tool will not release until it is totally closed. I will admit that clamping the three/four 1" rings takes a lot of muscle, and I ended up having to get inventive with blocking so I could use all my physique weight to close them... but I'm a tiny gal, so I'm sure a burly-man would not have any difficulties. But any ladies out there who are seeking to plumb with PEX should give consideration to this tool a "should have" and also look into making use of only 1/2 three/8" tubing and fittings!
