Client Critiques

I bought this to replace an old no-name pipe cutter that actually fell apart as I started a current project. Previously, I had run into difficulties attempting to cut an current water line exactly where the close proximity of the pipe to the floor joists made it impossible to get a fantastic cut devoid of consistently removing and re-attaching the cutter. The inward design of this compact cutter tends to make it potential to cut pipes in even the tightest of places.
1 complaint is that the major screw could stand to be a tiny bit larger, or at least have way more surface texture to it. I found myself certainly getting to dig my fingers in to turn it as I went around the three/8" copper tubing, but it did the job in a minute or two.

I needed to cut a pair of copper pipes in my new vanity in order to install compression shut-off valves on them. I made use of this small guy to get that job accomplished flawlessly. My only matter is that considering that I was operating in a tight space, it was sort of annoying that it took so quite a few turns to cut the caps off of these pipes. I followed the directions, creating 2 full revolutions and then re-tightening the cutter. Cuts were rather clean, no burrs. Be patient and follow the directions and hopefully you'll have great results also.
