Drain Sweep worked honestly outstanding. I was working with liquid drain openers in my bath tub, but they don't support much if hair/debris is stuck to the walls of the drain pipe. The Drain Sweep collected the debris from the walls of the drain pipe and pulled anything out. At 1 point Drain Sweep was stuck and I had to move it forward / backward and sideways and pull it out with force. Excellent item.

This tool proved to be also fat to get past the permanent metal cross-hatching in my kitchen sink's drain. Although the Sweep is substantially a lot more slender than the typical plumber's snake, it was not slender adequate to make it past this impediment.
I then tried it out on my bathroom sink. I have an older style of drain stopper here. This metal stopper plug can be removed. Even so its raising and lowering motion is controlled by a horizontal bar that is nested a handful of inches beneath the drain opening. I was afraid the Sweep once again wouldn't be able to make it past such an impediment. Nonetheless it did. But this time, the existence of this horizontal bar circumscribed the movement of the Sweep snake to such an extent that I wasn't in a position to maneuver it into or past the P-trap of the pipe beneath my sink. As a result once once again, the tool proved useless.
The directions on the Sweep's package say that if a single has this issue gaining access - 1 really should disassemble the pipe at the P-trap and function from there. But that's precisely why I bought this tool - to Keep away from getting to disassemble and then re-solder pipe!
Also, the manage of the Sweep is created of rather flimsy plastic and arrived partially broken.
