Properly that was entertaining.. I got a new side by side fridge and essential to hook up the line for the icemaker. Rather of ordering the overpriced hookup kit from Home Depot, I ordered this for ~$9 on Amazon. It came with every little thing needed and I looked at a couple of videos on Youtube. I am not very 'mechanically inclined' so I was unsure how it would go. The directions were quite straightforward but were typical from Chinese manufacturing. Some of the videos I watched said you will need a 'ferrow' but as long as you tighten the compression nuts, almost everything is decent. It took me about an hour, but now that I know how to do it, I'm certain I could quickly do it in 20 minutes. Order it and give it a shot, it is not difficult at all, even with folks who aren't 'mechanically inclined'. Fantastic luck!

Nicely put together product. Just make positive you tighten up the connections genuine very good. I forgot to tighten them and heard the hose flying around spraying water behind my fridge from my basement. No significant deal.
Overall I would certainly suggest you do this install yourself versus paying a retailer 150 dollars to do. It took me 20 minutes.
